ABOUT ME

Hi,

My name is Mateja. I am a life coach and a professional business consultant.

Since health together with having a job is one of the most valued criterion for the quality of human life and on the top list of very individual, this fact persuaded me to launch my business. Whenever I needed someone’s advice I was always looking for advice from the person who have experienced similar problems on their own skin. So, I am not pretending to be a medical expert neither I am competing for your attention and trying to pull you away from medical professionals. My sincere intention is to transfer to the best knowledge and live experience and to teach you some soft skills in self-management of chronic pain as well as to give you the latest updates on the field of management of intellectual property assets. The programs CREATIVEHEALTH4U is offering are merely filling the gap between existing professional medical programs and challenges of a chronic pain patient encountering on a daily life basis.

Your health status of course influences your relationships, your social and economic position and your ability to change your lifestyle.

Back to my personal story:

I had several encounters with pain during my life and I know quite a lot about pain’s different faces and devastating impact on life. I have faced the extreme pain while giving birth to two children, but that was the most wonderful pain I would always say yes to, which makes you feel you’re in 7th Havens…it’s a bit of this pain I was experiencing during marathons… that glorious pain which releases your endorphins and makes you walk the clouds…

This time, in the fall of 2009 the pain I have met the pain which was nothing alike above mentioned types – it was demanding, cruel, excruciating, exhausting pain… the PAIN that never went away. Not of a minute. I was unable to sleep, but when it was time to wake up in the morning and get dressed and take kids to kinder garden I couldn’t get off my bed, because all my joints and muscles hurt so badly that prevented me from doing the slightest move. I was just a shadow of former me – the optimistic person, a superwoman, a super mum, a super wife, a super employee…you name it. My children came to my bed, jumping all over my aching body and their exercises gave me the motivation and courage to stretch a bit and get on my feet. I had to go to my job and take care of my children. I used to take them to kinder garden and when I managed to get to my workplace I was so exhausted I would almost wanted to lie down on the floor for a while for I couldn’t concentrate and start working on the spot. When I was mentioning this to my PG, she wasn’t paying much attention to my alarming pain symptoms all over my body. After a month and a half, she decided to send me to different medical specialists. I went on a sick leave for a year. During this year I went to see many different doctors, I was doing the tests like scans and blood tests, but no medical report gave me the clear answer to what was happening to me. Pain killers made it even worse. After 3 months, I was deep down in this chronic pain pit and nobody was recognizing my reality or showed me the way out of it. Chronic pain at that time was not even recognized as a disease in its own title. So as the consequence of this condition I had to face besides living the pain all over my body, also the social and economic toll I had to pay. I have reduced to meet my friends and my monthly income has decreased considerably due to prolonged sick leave. I have spent huge sums on medical specialists’ working in private sectors in order to secure an earlier date. Almost half of the visits I had to pay out of my pocket. Chronic pain took away my smiles, my laughter, the humorous side of my character. I thought that was the end and felt sorry form my minor kids who still needed me entirely. My husband was focused primarily on his job. It was a hard lesson that the Universe has sent to me, to all of us, but the chronic pain thought me a lot, mostly about me. I can say now I am completely different person that I used to be. How did I make it thorough, what helped me on my way… this is part of another blog, I will be posting soon.

If you relate to any of this and you are dealing with chronic pain at the moment which by the way can also effect your business life and your life in general and you see behind my story someone who can help you shape your new life…I would gladly share with you my live experience. I would just like to finish by using one of my favorite quotes by Hippocrates which helped me a lot during my transformation: If you are in a bad mood, go for a walk, if you are still in a bad mood, go for another walk.

I hope to see you in one of my programs soon. Take care. I share with you my love and the light of another chance which was given to me….I appreciate you all.
